At LightHillCrest, we offer a range of high-end yacht rental solutions, which include but are not exclusive to:

  • Daily yacht charters
  • Evening cruises
  • Business retreats
  • Exclusive gatherings
  • Extended charters

Service availability is contingent on various factors and may change. We reserve the right to make adjustments to or discontinue any services without prior notice.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

When booking a charter, you are required to:

  • Be a minimum of 18 years old
  • Provide valid and comprehensive details
  • Make payment for the demanded deposit as outlined in your booking confirmation
  • Consent to these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

Confirmation of your booking is only realized upon our receipt of your payment and issuance of our written confirmation. Service may be denied at our sole discretion to any individual.

3.3 Availability

The availability of all charters is subject to the accessibility of vessels and favorable weather conditions. We will endeavor to accommodate your preferred scheduling to the best of our capabilities.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All our rates are expressed in € and take into account all relevant taxes, unless indicated differently. Rates are changeable and may vary without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 50% of the entire cost of the charter, payable upon booking
  • Remaining balance: Due 48 hours prior to the departure of the charter
  • Any extra fees (as applicable): Payable at the end of the charter

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept an array of payment options, including major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified checks. To ensure security, payment processing is executed through encrypted systems.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • 72 hours or more before departure: Full refund minus processing costs
  • Between 24 and 72 hours before departure: 50% refund
  • Under 24 hours before departure: No refund will be provided

5.2 Weather Cancellations

Should our captain determine weather conditions to be unsafe, we will propose:

  • Altering the date of your charter to the nearest suitable date at no extra charge
  • Issuing a complete refund if rearrangement isn't feasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

In case of a mechanical issue with your designated vessel, we will work to supply an adequate substitute. Failing that, a full reimbursement will be given.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All guests are expected to:

  • Comply with all instructions given by the crew
  • Utilize the provided safety gear as instructed
  • Report any health conditions that might influence their safety
  • Stay within the designated areas aboard the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

Certain items are prohibited on the yacht, including:

  • Glass containers
  • Illegal drugs
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Pets, unless previously agreed upon

6.3 Conduct

Passengers are required to behave respectfully at all times. We maintain the right to discontinue a charter prematurely, without any refund, if a passenger's behavior presents a safety hazard or interferes with the enjoyment of others.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

Our accountability is limited to the amount you have paid for the charter. We are not liable for:

  • Injuries incurred due to a passenger's carelessness
  • Theft or damage to personal belongings
  • Indirect, subsequent, or punitive losses
  • Delays instigated by inclement weather or factors beyond our influence

7.2 Insurance Coverage

We carry comprehensive marine indemnity insurance for our boats and operations. It is the responsibility of the passengers to arrange their individual travel and personal insurance policies.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

Participation in our chartering services means you understand that marine activities are naturally risky and you accept responsibility for your safety and security.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

We reserve all rights to alter itineraries, routes or timetables due to meteorological conditions, safety requirements or operational exigencies. We aim to ensure equivalent alternatives in such scenarios.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be held accountable for delays, cancellations, or service adjustments caused by unforeseen circumstances outside our control, which may include, but are not restricted to:

  • Extreme weather events
  • Natural catastrophes
  • Legislative directives
  • Closure of ports
  • Technical faults

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your private information is treated in line with our Privacy Policy. Utilizing our Service is considered as your consent to our data collection and utilization practices as detailed within our Privacy Policy.
